Piano Lessons
Lesson Structure
"No two students are the same, so no two lessons are either."
- I shape each lesson around the individual — their goals, their personality, and the way they learn best. Some students thrive on structure and clear milestones, others learn best through creativity and exploration. My job is to meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence.
- Whether you’re just starting out, coming back to piano after years away, or working toward exams or performances, lessons are built specifically around you.
- Lessons are structured, but never rigid. We work hard, but we also enjoy the process. My goal isn’t just to teach notes on a page — it’s to help students build confidence, independence, and a lasting connection to music.

Tailored Learning Plans
What Lessons Usually Include
Personalised Direction
We’ll set clear, realistic goals and adjust them as you grow. Your progress matters more than sticking to a rigid plan.
Strong Foundations
Good technique is essential. We focus on posture, hand position, rhythm, reading skills and overall musicianship so you feel confident and in control at the piano.
Music You Enjoy
Learning should be inspiring. Alongside core skill-building, we’ll work on pieces you genuinely connect with — whether that’s classical repertoire, contemporary music, film themes, or something else you love.
Musical Understanding
Theory, ear training, sight-reading, and creative skills are woven naturally into lessons so they support your playing rather than feel like separate subjects.
Supportive Space
Mistakes are part of learning. I aim to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves.
